Mrs. Hannah Kern, 309 Chestnut St., Slatington, widow of the late Arthur E. Kern, died at 10:15 a.m. Friday in the Allentown hospital. She was 62 years of age. A life-long resident of Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Sarah (nee Evans) and Robert Roberts. She was a member of Welsh Presbyterian church and was active in the ladies auxiliary of the Vigilant Fire Co. Surviving are one son, David; four daughters, Mrs. Eleanor K. Gibbert, of Keller's church; Mrs. Sarah Snyder and Mrs. Esther Mack, Slatington; and Janet Kern Gaissert, Allentown, and three grandchildren.
