Henry A. Trexler, a former resident of Topton, died on Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. at White Haven, following an illness of complications. He was in his 56th year.

He was a son of the late Jonas and Amanda, nee Fenstermacher, Trexler and for many years was employed at the Mertztown rug mill. He was a member of the Longswamp Church and was affiliated with Camp 172, P.O.S. of A. of Topton and Lodge No. 1325 of I. O. O. M. of Kutztown. He was a man of many excellent qualities and his passing will be sincerely mourned by his wide circle of friends.

Besides his widow, Jennie, nee Eck, he is survived by a son, George Trexler, of 423 Maple Street, Allentown, together with two grandchildren, also a sister, Mrs Reuben Fretz of Mertztown, and two brothers, Fred, Topton, and Edwin Trexler, Warren, Ohio.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 1: 30 p.m. standard time, with all services in the Longswamp Church. Rev. W.F. Bond will officiate. Internment will be made in the cemetary adjoining the church.
