Pauline J. Lichtenwalner, wife for 62 years of W. Oscar Lichtenwalner, died at 3:40 p.m. yesterday at her home in East Macungie. She was 85 years old. Born in Upper Macungie township, she and her husband had lived in East Macungie for 52 years. She was a daughter of the late Jonah and Hannah (Koch) Grammes and was the last of her family. She was a member of Grace Lutheran church, Macungie, and the home department of the Sunday school and the Missionary society of the church. her husband; a son, William J., of R. 1. Breinigsville; three daughters, Ada G. and Mary M., both at home; Mrs. Ellis Lichtenwalner, of R. 1 Macungie; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive. Rev. Jesse Renninger will officiate at services at 2 p.m. Saturday at the family residence in East Macungie. Burial will be made in Macungie church cemetery.
