Mahlon Preston was educated at Greenwood Dell Academy; studied medicine with Dr. J. B. Wood, of West Chester, and graduated in 1861 from the Homeopathic Medical College of Pennsylvania, located at Philadelphia; in 1862 located at Norristown, where he continues in the practice of his profession.
