Andrew, b. February 28, 1170, at Bethlehem, Pa.; d. November 24, 1822, at Sunbury, Pa.; went to Lewisburg, Pa., where he resided until elected sheriff of Northumberland county, when he removed to Sunbury; was elected a member of the Assembly in 1808, and in 1813 appointed by Governor Snyder an associate judge of the county; in October preceding his death he had been elected a State Senator: was noted for his integrity and very popular throughout Buffalo Valley; was twice married, first, to (Catharine Rahm; b. July 20, 1769; d. March 9, 1810; daughter of Conrad Rahm and Catharine Weiser; m., secondly, the widow of Jacob Youngman and mother of John G. Youngman, of Sunbury; they had no issue.
