Daniel Saeger, youngest son of Christian, was born July 11, 1779, and died June 26, 1838, at Saegertown, Crawford county, which was named for him in 1823. He owned 625 acres of land in that vicinity and served as a justice of the peace and in the state legislature. He married Margaret Snyder and had six children: Isaac. Edward. Jonathan, Thomas. Stephen, and Sarah.
