Clementine Rosa Troxell daughter of Ephraina, resides at Wilkes-Barre. She is a life member of the Wyoming Historical and Geological Society and the Lehigh County Historical Society and a member of the National Society D. A. R., the Hugeuenot Society, and the Y. W. C. A. of Wilkes-Barre.

Clementine Rosa Troxell, descendant of Huguenot blood and of Revolutionary ancestors, died on July 24. 1936, in the General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, alter more than four years of illness. She was 89 years of age. She was born in Fogelsville and was a daughter of Ephraim Troxell, who before the Civil War moved from the local community to Wilkes-Barre and there became identified with many business enterprises. He was one of the early promoters of trolley lines and of the developments at Harvey's Lake. He was also interested in mining operations. He died in 1903 and his wife, who was Caroline A. Fogel, died two years before that.

Miss Troxell was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Wilkes-Barre, and was a life member of the Lehigh County Historical Society. She was also a member of the Wyoming Historical Society, the D. A. R., the Huguenot Society and the Y. W. C. A. of Wilkes-Barre.

A bequest of $10,000, the largest in the history of the Lehigh County Historical Society, was provided for the local body in her will.

By her will, Miss Troxell also bequeathed $5,000 each to the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York City; the Washington Cathedral, Washington, D. C., and Valley Forge Historical Society at Valley Forge. The Indian Rights Association, Philadelphia, also received $500.
