Theodore E. Trexler, who resides at the corner of Pike and Linden Streets. East Allentown, was born in that locality, April 15, 1851. In 1886,he succeeded his father in the lime burning business and in connection with that business he dealt largely in limestone, giving employment to ten men. He succeeded his father in the ownership of the old homestead, but his is now cut into building lots and a number of houses have been built upon it. He retired from active business in June. 1911, and was succeeded by his sons, John L. and Constantine M. In 1906 he erected the large residence where he resides. He was married first. To Sarah A. Hopper and they had three children. After her decease he married as his second wife, Emma L. Reinhart.
