Alexander P. Troxell, son of David. was born in South Whitehall in 1945, he carried on the butchering business for a number of years, and later purchased a 70 acre farm between the Iron Bridge and Myersville, recently owned by Dallas Frankenfield where he carried on butchering as well as farming and conducted a meat market near the Lafayette Hotel in Allentown. He also dealt in cattle and supplied the Allentown butchers with cattle from New York. He served two terms as poor director of the county, having been elected on the Democratic ticket and in religion affiliated with the Reformed Church. He married Mary, daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (Colver) Frey, of South Whitehall. Mrs. Troxell, died Jan 21, 1913. aged 70 years. They had two children. Bertha, wife of Frank McIntosh. of Allentown and Alexander P.
