This mill consists of a stone building still in a good state of preservation, and a saw-mill annex which was built by M. B. in 1793. William Mosser came into possession of this property about 1828 and operated the same up to the time of his retirement, when he was succeeded by his son, William K The mill is known as "Mosser's Mill" and the property contains 161 acres of good land, located in the potato belt. Mr. Mosser was a Lutheran member of "Jacobs" or Jacksonville Union church, which he served officially for many years, being treasurer, when the present church was built. He died at the age of 76 years. His wife was Susanna, daughter of Daniel Kuhns. Fourteen children were born to them, three of whom died when young.
