Thomas Lazarus, son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Paul) Lazarus. was born 12/4/1809, died 9/24/1871. He was the owner of a part of the original Lazarus homestead, the part upon which his father erected the new buildings. On this tract he lived and died. He was married to Anna Maria Balliet, a daughter of John Ballet. She was born 6/13/1813, died 1/13/1887.
