Jacob Kuntz, sixth son of Bernhard, born in 1759, was confirmed with his brother Peter, in 1774, by Rev. John Andrew Frederici, pastor of the Kreidersville Lutheran congregation. He as sent to school in New York by his father and received a good education. He lived in Lehigh Township, where he was a farmer and a tanner, and also justice of the peace for the townships of Lynn and Towamensing, having been commissioned March 28, 1796. He and his wife, Christina Mosser, are buried at Indianland church.
