Harrison Dubbs, was born November 31, 1831, and was baptized by Rev. J. S. Dubbs January 15, 1832. He was a miller by trade and for many years conducted a mill in Salisbury Township on the bank of Trout Steam, known generally as Dubbs Mills. In 1870 he purchased a small farm in Upper Saucon township. He died at Emaus, March 21, 1901. He was married to Catharine Schuler, a daughter of Ludwig Schuler and Anna Geisinger. Mrs. Dubbs was born April 2, 1837, and died December 27, 1874, both Mr. and Mrs. Dubbs lie buried in the Linden Street Cemetery, Allentown. This union was blessed with two children: William S. and Agnes who died at the age of six years.
