Marie was an elementary school teacher in the Catasauqua, Pa. school district for 16 years before retiring in 1977. She was a 1939 graduate of Cedar Crest College. She was a member of the Salem UCC Church in Catasauqua where she was a Sunday School teacher a nd a member of the choir. Brubaker Funeral Home arranged the funeral.
