Misc. Notes
"William, possibly a Quaker, bought 150 acres on Miles Creek in 1693 near Lloyds Landing on the Choptank River about 10 miles up the river from Cambridge. My guess is that he was a member of Claiborne's colony on Kent Island which was broken up by Lord Baltimore about 1675. William spent some time in Dorchester Country before coming to Talbot. He signed his will with an 'x'. His wife, Margaret, was dead when William died in 1709, their infant daughter had died the year before. His son George carried on the farm."
