Misc. Notes
Elizabeth, married Lewis Williams and immigrated to the same town as her uncle, Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. Lewis was a stone mason an d they never benefitted by Uncle David's success. Since Ann predeceased her brother, one would think that her share of his estate would have gone to her children, but no records reflect that.

When Lewis was 42 and Elizabeth 40, they boarded the "City of Paris " in Liverpool, arriving in New York on 29 Aug 1870. The older children were a ble to help care for 2 year old Elizabeth and 4 month old Mary. They settled in Hokendauqua, then moved to Catasauqua, and eventually to Fullerton, where Elizabeth died at age 68 of "a complication of diseases." At the time Hopkin was living in Scranton; Thomas, my great grandfather, in Catasauqua; Anna (Mrs. Thomas Jones) in Hokendauqua, Johanna (Mrs. Martin Crawford) in Summit Hill; and Mary and Eliz abeth (Mrs. John Good) both lived with their parents. No mention wa s made in the obituary of John, Richard and David, all of whom pre-de ceased her. Husband Lewis died 5 years later.
