Mary Gillett Rockefeller of Rye, N.Y., and Jeremiah Milbank of Greenwich, Conn., were married on Monday at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Ahlberg in Easthampton, Conn. Mr. Ahlberg, who retired as the senior minister at the Round Hill Community Church in Greenwich, performed the ceremony.

Mrs. Milbank is a board member of the Metropolitan Opera Guild and has had long associations as a volunteer with the New York Botanical Garden, the Rye Garden Club, the Red Cross and the Navy League. She is the daughter of the late Harriet and William Van Kirk Gillett, who lived in Guilford, Conn., and Pelham Manor, N.Y. Her father was an executive with the Curtis Publishing Company in New York. She was the widow of William Rockefeller, who was the chairman of the Metropolitan Opera Association.

Mr. Milbank was for many years the president of the International Center for the Disabled in New York, which was founded in 1917 by his father, Jeremiah Milbank Sr., a financier. The bridegroom's mother was the late Katharine Milbank.

Mr. Milbank is a governor of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, of which he was the chairman. He was a finance chairman of the Republican National Committee during the 1970's. He graduated from Yale University and received an M.B.A. degree from Harvard University.

Mr. Milbank was the widower of Posy Sheppard Milbank.
