Grew up in Bethlehem PA, except for a few years when the family lived in Catasauqua PA with her grandmother. She attended the Bethlehem public schools, then attended Wells College in Aurora, New York. On September 17th of that year, she married Peter Newan Taylor of Bethlehem in the First Presbyterian Church.

Work experience includes receptionist for Oral Surgeon Dr. George Figlear, Bethlehem PA,
receptionist at Keystone Employment Agency, Carmel IN, and data processor for Architect Milton B. Cuppy, Carmel IN.

She is a member of the Episcopal Church.

Hobbies include water color painting, tennis, reading, some creative writing.
