This edition is written in HTML –
the basic language used by Internet browsers. A complete collection of reference material is included
herein.
A paper edition may be published in the
future – this will necessarily be limited in scope.
Only simple HTML code is being used so
that all browsers should be able to translate the code without error. It has
been tested using the following browsers: Safari 5 (Mac), Firefox 3.6 (Mac).
Limited checking using Internet
Explorer 6. 0 (PC) has been conducted. Please report broken links and other
issues to the author using the e-mail address below.
The code has been generated using
Macromedia Dreamweaver 6.0 and Microsoft Word 2004 (Mac)
The story is presented as a series of
pages giving overviews of each stage of Hopkin's career. Usually, there is a
page of narration with links to the source material employed – generally
excerpts from published texts. This is useful for those who may want to examine
the details of the source publications.
